Carrie Mills

Carrie Mills, CISSP, is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Southwest Airlines since January 2017, where responsibilities have included leading various roles within cybersecurity, including Vice President of Cybersecurity and Managing Director of Cybersecurity Defense. Mills also holds an alternate board member position at Aviation ISAC, fostering collaboration within the global aviation industry regarding cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Prior to Southwest Airlines, Mills held multiple positions at Brinker International, culminating as Director of IT Security and Risk Management, and gained foundational experience in IT support roles at Fossil and Martin Fletcher. Mills holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma, obtained in 2001.
