Umanath Bhat

Umanath Bhat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product release management and IT consulting. Currently serving as a Product Release Manager at Southwest Airlines since August 2022, Umanath previously held the position of Release Manager at SAIC from September 2020 to August 2022, where coordination of production releases with various IT groups was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes managing production code releases for over ten scrum teams as a Release Manager and DevOps Professional at YPO from July 2012 to June 2020. Umanath's career began in January 1992 as a Developer/Web Application Developer and IT Consultant, providing services across multiple industries for over fifteen years, with a focus on the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Umanath Bhat obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering at the University of Mysore.
