Sam Ritter possesses extensive experience in outdoor leadership and customer service, currently serving as a Crew Lead for Southwest Conservation Corps since April 2018, where responsibilities include managing a team and logistics for trail-building projects. As a River Guide for Three Rivers Outfitters since May 2016, Sam specializes in guest preparation and transportation logistics. Previous roles include Advanced Lifeguard and Youth Sports Coach at Denver Parks and Recreation, providing quality service to over 150,000 patrons, and Adventure Services Agent at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, where itinerary management and customer support were key functions. Sam also worked in restaurant services, construction, and event coordination, showcasing versatility and strong interpersonal skills. A Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Human Services was earned from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015.

Our offices are out of Durango, CO and Salida, CO. Southwest Conservation Corps is a program of Conservation Legacy.
