Joshua Rimes

Joshua Rimes has extensive work experience in the fire department. Joshua began their career in 1992 as the Fire Chief at the LaBelle Fire Department, where they worked part-time and managed a team of 30 volunteers. Currently, they hold the position of Battalion Chief at the Lee County Port Authority. In this role, they oversee administrative and operational duties, such as managing the medical program, maintaining PPE inventory, and participating in hiring processes.

Joshua Rimes completed their Associate of Science degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Columbia Southern University, which they attended from 2010 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fire Services Administration from the same university, completing it from 2016 to 2019.
