Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council
Nichole Gwinnett has extensive experience in planning and emergency management, currently serving as Planner II at the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council since April 1991. Notably, Nichole has been the Program Coordinator for the Southwest Florida Local Emergency Planning Committee and Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness State programs since February 2015, finding it both challenging and rewarding. Additional roles have included Grants Manager and Promise Zone Coordinator, where Nichole is engaged in coordinating with federal and regional agencies. Earlier experience at Atlantic Environmental Services, Inc. involved general office duties and preparing environmental assessment reports. Nichole’s education includes studies at Post College and a high school diploma from Nathan Hale Ray High School.
