Cecilia V. Sanchez Ms, Rdn, Ld

Cecilia V. Sanchez MS, RDN, LD has a diverse work experience in the field of nutrition and health education. Cecilia V. Sanchez most recently served as the Assistant Director of Compliance at SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence, where they ensured compliance with nutrition guidelines and regulations. Prior to that, they worked as a Child Nutrition Manager at the same company. Cecilia V. Sanchez also gained experience as a Health Educator at Wellness Corporate Solutions, LLC, and as a Bariatric Dietitian at My Bariatric Solutions. In addition, they worked as a Trainer at Education Service Center Region 11, a Registered Dietitian at Fort Worth ISD, and an Adjunct Instructor at Tarrant County College. Cecilia also gained research and teaching experience at Oklahoma State University, where they served as a Dietetic Intern, Graduate Research Assistant, Tutor, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Furthermore, they worked as a Nutrition Counselor and Camp Counselor at Wellspring Camps, where they instructed nutrition and culinary lessons to teenage girls. Cecilia started their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Student Assistant at Texas Tech University, where they taught nutrition to elementary students and assisted with research data analysis. Overall, they have a strong background in nutrition, compliance, health education, and research.

Cecilia V. Sanchez MS, RDN, LD completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics from Texas Tech University in 2011.

In addition to their education, Cecilia has obtained several certifications. In August 2016, they received a Certificate of Training in Nutritional Counseling from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In March 2016, they completed the Adult Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Red Cross. In February 2016, they acquired the ServSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association. Lastly, in June 2015, they obtained the Texas Association of School Nutrition certification from the Texas Association of School Nutrition.
