Monty Staggs is an accomplished culinary and business professional with extensive experience in the foodservice industry. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence since November 2012, Monty has a strong commitment to enhancing child nutrition with a focus on customer service and quality. Prior roles include President and Senior Vice President of Culinary Operations at Meyer Natural Foods, where Monty contributed to the company's evolution into a leading source of natural beef products. Monty also held positions at JBS Swift & Co., Johnny Carino's, and Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse, as well as executive chef roles at various fine dining restaurants noted for their Zagat ratings. Monty holds an AS in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and a BA in Business from Texas State University.
