Tammy Short

Tammy Short is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in HR administration and management. Currently serving as an HR Administrator at Southwest Gas Corporation since January 2015, Tammy oversees recruitment, employee training and development programs, and employee relations processes. Previously, as the HR Director (Shared Services) at MGM Resorts International, responsibilities included establishing the first HR Shared Services Center and implementing new HR systems. Tammy's career also includes a role as a Recruiting Manager at Citi, where seamless communication with HR leads was pivotal, and as a Senior Employment Specialist at AAA, focusing on compliance with EEO and Affirmative Action plans. Tammy holds a BA in Communications from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, completed in 1991, and graduated from Valley High School in 1985.
