Marissa Perales

Marissa Perales, LCSW, currently serves as the Director of Social Services at Lake Charles Memorial Health System since September 2016, following roles as Supervisor of Social Services and Master Clinician - LMSW. Previously, Marissa worked at Upbring as a Family Service Worker, advocating for foster children and parents, and held administrative positions within the organization. Experience includes internships at Holmgreen Center, Pathways Youth and Family Services, and Bexar Juvenile Probation Department, focusing on counseling, crisis intervention, and assessments in various settings. Marissa earned a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University-Channel Islands.
