Sarena Pundt, RRT, RRT-ACCS has a diverse work experience in the field of respiratory therapy. Sarena began their career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in 2010 and then moved on to work at Moss Regional Medical Center from 2011 to 2013. Sarena joined Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in 2013 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and later took on the role of Director of Pulmonary Medicine at Lake Charles Memorial Health System. In this role, they supervised the Pulmonary Medicine Department from 2017 to 2019 and served as the Assistant Director of Respiratory from 2019 to 2020. Presently, they are working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Avail Hospital Lake Charles. In 2020, Sarena also took on the position of Director of Pulmonary Medicine at Lake Charles Memorial Health System.
Sarena Pundt, RRT, RRT-ACCS, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Allied Health from Northwestern State University, which they completed from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Respiratory Care from LSU-Eunice, specializing in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist, from 2003 to 2006. In addition, they have earned the certifications of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in 2008 and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in 2006, both from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Recently, they acquired the Adult Critical Care Specialty Examination (ACCS) certification from the NBRC in 2022.
