Chella Rossel

Chella Rossel is a mechanical engineer currently working at Southwest Research Institute in the Space Systems Division, focusing on the design, construction, and testing of specialized instruments for space exploration. Prior experience includes serving as a Laboratory Technical Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering 3D Lab at Auburn University, where responsibilities included 3D printing support for student projects and conducting lab tours. Chella also held the position of Undergraduate Research Assistant, studying ballet biomechanics, and completed a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at GE Aerospace, managing a laser marking project. Earlier experience includes an Engineering Support Internship at Hexagon PPM, with a focus on Smart 3D design. Chella earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in 2023.
