Chris Stoos has a diverse work experience. Chris started as a Student Engineer at Southwest Research Institute in March 2010 and transitioned through different roles, including Engineer, Research Engineer, Senior Research Engineer, and currently serves as a Lead Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Soldier in the US Army Reserves, specifically serving as an 88U Locomotive Operator Crewmember from May 2002 to May 2010. Additionally, they worked as a Machinist at Union Pacific Railroad from July 2007 to December 2009.
Chris Stoos completed a Master's degree in Engine Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Their undergraduate studies began in 2001 at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they focused on Mechanical Engineering. However, it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution.
