Anthony Francis

Anthony Francis currently serves as an Associate Professor of Instruction and a Lecturer in Photography at Texas State University since January 2018. As a photographic artist, Anthony specializes in creating exhibition works that explore themes of universality, dynamic authorship, and love. Anthony's extensive experience includes working as an Editorial, Commercial, and Fine Art Photographer, viewing each photograph as a unique portrait. Additionally, Anthony has taught various photography courses at the Southwest School of Art and conducted workshops with the Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas aimed at fostering environmental appreciation through photography. Anthony's educational background includes a Master of Art in Education from The George Washington University and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the Academy of Art University.

Southwest School of Art

Southwest School of Art is the only independent college of art in the state of Texas and operates as a private, nonprofit institution. In addition to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Southwest School of Art provides studio art programs for non degree-seeking students in San Antonio and surrounding communities.
