Ramin Samandari is an accomplished fine art photographer with extensive experience as the owner of Magical Realism Studio since January 1998, specializing in weddings, events, portraits, and private tutorials. In addition to operating the studio, Ramin has been a faculty member at Southwest School of Art since May 2008, teaching photography, and previously served as an adjunct faculty member from 1997 to 2001, focusing on beginning and intermediate darkroom classes. Ramin holds degrees in Pre-Med, Art, and Photography from The University of Texas Permian Basin, completed between 1980 and 1984.

Southwest School of Art
Southwest School of Art is the only independent college of art in the state of Texas and operates as a private, nonprofit institution. In addition to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Southwest School of Art provides studio art programs for non degree-seeking students in San Antonio and surrounding communities.
