Katie Rhodes, WSET ll, has a diverse range of work experience in the beverage industry. Katie most recently worked at Southwest Spirits as a Field Marketing Manager, where they managed the implementation of brand strategy and oversaw social media execution. Before that, Katie was an Area Sales Manager at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, where they analyzed data and trends to grow revenue by 7.8% for key brands. Katie also held roles as a Sales Consultant in both the Lonestar Grocery and Legacy Grocery Divisions. In addition to their sales experience, Katie gained valuable skills through their Sales Leadership Development Program and Campus Ambassador roles at E. & J. Gallo Winery. Katie also interned at the company, where they presented a final project and effectively communicated virtually with their team and manager. Prior to their work in the beverage industry, Katie served as an Office Assistant at the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and as a Broadcast Intern at KCTV/KSMO/tv. Katie began their career at Culver's Restaurant as a Crew Chief, where they represented the restaurant during interviews and created promotional signs. Katie has also gained experience in the financial services industry as a Financial Services Operations Representative at DST Systems and in marketing as a Marketing Intern at i9 Sports.
Katie Rhodes pursued their education at The University of Kansas School of Business and The University of Kansas School of Journalism from 2017 to 2021. At the School of Business, they focused on marketing, while at the School of Journalism, they concentrated on news and media studies. In September 2022, Katie obtained their WSET ll certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
