Rachel Fischer

Rachel Fischer serves as the Assistant Superintendent/Vice President for Student Affairs at Southwestern Community College District since March 2007, with prior roles including Dean of Student Services and Regional Director. Fischer has extensive experience in managing programs aimed at assisting small businesses in securing government contracts through roles at the San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center and Community Capital Development. Currently, Fischer is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at San Diego State University, building on an educational foundation that includes a Master's in Adult Education and Training from Seattle University, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Russian, and a Bachelor of Arts in History.
