Amanda Currier has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and organizations. Amanda began their career at Sky Ranch Cave Springs in 2012 as a Program Staff member. In 2015, they joined the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City as a Summer Camp Counselor and Weekend Facilitator. Amanda then transitioned to the Great Plains Family YMCA Incorporated, where they served as an After School Program Teacher and later became the Child Development Center Coordinator. In 2016, they took on the role of School Age Program Coordinator, overseeing various activities for around 60 children during the school year and 100 children during summer day camp. Amanda's next career move was to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where they worked as an Academic Coach for two years and then as a Retention Specialist for one year. Amanda'smost recent position is as the Director of the Academic Support Center at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Amanda Currier completed their education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in 2016. Later, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Facilities Management from 2018 to 2020.
