Alexis Barry

Alexis Barry is an experienced executive and educator with a diverse background in leadership and academia. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Oregon Coast Community Action since July 2023, Alexis also teaches Anthropology and Sociology as an Adjunct Faculty member at Southwestern Oregon Community College since August 2021. Previous roles include Tribal Administrator for Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria and Chief Executive Officer for the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw Indians, along with adjunct faculty positions at Southern New Hampshire University and Peninsula College. Alexis holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Eckerd College.
