D. Anthony Collins

D. Anthony Collins has extensive experience in educational and student services roles, currently serving at Southwestern Oregon Community College since September 2004, where responsibilities include leading cross-departmental teams to support approximately 1500 students and teaching Human Development courses. As a coach for Cross Country and Track & Field, D. Anthony Collins manages recruitment and training for student athletes while overseeing numerous events. Previous experience includes positions as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at both the University of Phoenix and Whatcom Community College, and serving as an English Education Specialist at the University of New Mexico. D. Anthony Collins has also contributed to workforce training strategies with the South Coast Employer Council and provided instruction at Seattle Goodwill Industries. Education credentials include a BA and M.Ed in Linguistics, TESL, and Adult Education from Western Washington University. Certifications include participation in coaching programs through the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association and USA Track & Field Academy.
