Andres Nieves is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Solutions Architect at SOUTHWORKS since December 2020, Andres spearheads project delivery and oversees multiple teams, focusing on technology decision-making and clarifying project requirements. Prior roles include Development Discipline Lead and Senior Engineer at Endava, where responsibilities encompassed training design and full-stack development for diverse U.S. clients. Andres has also held positions as Senior Java Developer at Velocity Partners and Technical Lead at Xseed IT Solutions, leading various projects for Scotiabank Uruguay. With a solid educational background, including a Master's in Engineering and a Bachelor's in Systems Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay, Andres has a strong foundation in technology and innovation.
