Vesta Javaheri

Vesta Javaheri has extensive experience in both educational and customer service roles. Currently serving as a barista at The Chocolate Dragon Bittersweet Cafe and Bakery since November 2021 and at Souvenir Coffee Co. since June 2021, Vesta has also held positions as a Math Fellow at Blueprint Schools Network and as a mathematics teacher and substitute teacher in the Oakland Unified School District. As a social justice advocate at Mills College, responsibilities included organizing workshops, developing strategies for student retention, and acting as a campus leader. Vesta's internship at L.A. Care Health Plan involved analyzing and interpreting health data. Vesta holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics from Mills College.
