Aleksej Burica

Aleksej Burica has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Captain at Sovereign Global Solutions since May 2019, overseeing the operation of the remotely operated vessel MARIP1201 for survey operations in ADNOC controlled fields. Previous roles include Chief Mate focusing on fishery inspection and law enforcement in Angolan EEZ and Nigerian waters, Yacht Master for Croatia gulet cruising, and Chief Mate/SDPO at POSH managing supply duties in multiple oil fields. Earlier in the career, Aleksej gained experience as 2nd Mate and Marine Surveyor in various companies, starting from 2005, demonstrating a strong foundation in marine operations, safety, and inspection. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in marine transports from Maritime University of Rijeka and completion of maritime officer training at Pomorska skola Bakar.
