Sam Thompson

Sam Thompson is an experienced professional in the field of sport and exercise science, currently serving as a Junior Business Analyst and Workforce Management Analyst at Sovereign Housing Association since March 2020. Prior to this role, Sam worked as a First Team Sport Scientist at Aldershot Town Football Club from November 2015 to May 2018, focusing on the monitoring and analysis of training loads and physiological states of athletes. Sam's career began at the University of Winchester as a Sport and Exercise Science Assistant, where responsibilities included physiological testing of elite athletes. Sam holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology from St Mary’s University, Twickenham, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Winchester.
