Filippo Neysofu Costa

Filippo Neysofu Costa is a highly skilled Sr. Protocol Engineer at Sovereign Labs, contributing to the development of the Sovereign SDK since June 2023. With extensive experience in Rust and blockchain technologies, Filippo has worked as a self-employed contractor on various high-profile blockchain projects since March 2021. Previously, Filippo was a Rust Software Engineer at Edge & Node, focused on blockchain indexing solutions, and co-led the implementation of a smart contract execution engine as a Core Protocol Developer at Spacemesh. Filippo also has experience as a contractor at Bitwyre, improving trading systems, and as a Rust Software Developer intern at Efficiam. Notably selected as a mentee by LeadTheFuture, Filippo is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Università di Pisa.
