Henry Dawson

Henry Dawson is an Operating Partner at Sovereign’s Capital in the Lower Middle Market Practice. His focus is partnering with portfolio company leaders to create value by leveraging technology, innovating systems and processes, promoting efficiency, and providing strategic leadership. Henry also serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Southeast Lineman Training Center, a Sovereign’s portfolio company. Prior to joining Sovereign’s Capital, he was an Operating Partner at TrinRock Capital, a private equity firm serving the U.S. gulf coast in the areas of industrial fabrication, oil field services, petrochemical facility maintenance and construction, and health care, where he operated in a variety of c-suite roles. Before TrinRock, Henry worked internationally with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) for nine years, where he was based in Florence, Italy. During that time, he functioned as the National Director of Operations and Executive Director, while also serving on the boards of several ministries and non-profits.

Henry earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of North Texas.
