Tom Darden

Thomas Darden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and environmental planning. Since January 1990, Darden has served as CEO of Cherokee Investment Partners, where the focus is on providing superior financial, environmental, and social returns. Darden has also been a member of the Board of Trustees at Shaw University since January 1988. Previously, Darden was Chairman of Cherokee Sanford Group, the largest privately held brick manufacturing company in the United States, from 1984 to 2000. Early career experience includes roles as a consultant at Bain & Company and as an environmental planner at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology. Darden holds a J.D. from Yale University and advanced degrees in Environmental Planning and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
