Niels Korf

Niels Korf currently serves as the Rector of Huygens College Heerhugowaard at SOVON since May 2018, overseeing a team of around 200 colleagues and preparing approximately 1,650 students for their roles in society. In addition, Niels is a board member of the NW regional board at VO-Raad and previously held several managerial roles at Nova College, where responsibilities included leading the Service Bureau and facilitating the merger of operational teams. Niels's background also includes roles as an education consultant and a history teacher, complemented by extensive academic qualifications in history and education from the University of Amsterdam and The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
