Valtteri Kaartemo

Valtteri Kaartemo has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they started as a University Teacher at the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku. Valtteri later became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution. In 2016, they also served as a Visiting Scholar at Wilfrid Laurier University.

In 2018, Kaartemo co-founded Monttu Ventures Oy and served as its Co-Founder. Valtteri also worked as an Advisor for Doctual and Snatch Oy, providing guidance in market creation and legal expense reduction, respectively.

In 2019, Kaartemo co-founded Sowise - Contract Solutions, a cloud-based service for contract creation and management. Valtteri also joined Upvote as an Advisor.

Kaartemo has also been involved in various roles related to investment and technology startups. Valtteri worked as a Startup Scout for US Investment Banks, connecting Finnish technology startups with foreign investment banks. Valtteri also co-founded DrAI.ai, which analyzes textual data for insights, and served as an Advisor for Upvote, a platform for online agreements.

Before their academic and startup ventures, Kaartemo founded Arctic Ohana Oy, a company with several online businesses.

Valtteri Kaartemo obtained their D.Sc. degree in International Business from the University of Turku, where they studied from 2008 to 2013.
