Vishal Punwani, MD has a diverse education history. In 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Victoria where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued further studies at The University of British Columbia, earning another Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, this time in Nutrition Sciences. Vishal then continued their education at the University of Melbourne from 2013 to 2016, focusing on Medicine. In 2015 to 2016, they also attended Harvard Medical School for additional medical studies. In 2017, Vishal Punwani attended Harvard University for an Executive Education Certificate in Innovations in Healthcare and Education, with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Lastly, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued Entrepreneurship studies at Harvard Business School.
