Armins Rusis is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at S&P Global since March 2022, Armins previously held multiple Managing Director positions at IHS Markit from September 2008 to March 2022, focusing on strategic account management, global information, data and indices, and fixed income. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Morgan Stanley from August 1991 to May 2008, where Armins contributed to the European Management Committee and managed European credit trading and leveraged finance. Armins started the career in corporate finance with roles at Prudential Financial and L.F. Rothschild. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Finance from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from The Wharton School, complemented by a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Armins also served as a Master at Eton College, teaching Economics and American Politics while coaching rowing.
