Balu Ambady

Balu Ambady serves as the Global Head of Security Engineering, BISO at S&P Global since January 2023, leading a team that ensures comprehensive security for S&P Global Ratings. Previously, Balu held the role of Sr. Manager, Security Solutions at Amazon, where leadership was provided in delivering large-scale security initiatives. At Sensus, Balu served as Sr. Director of Global Security Technologies, overseeing all security aspects of products and end-to-end architecture. In earlier roles at CableLabs and Sun Microsystems, Balu managed teams focused on digital video security and Public Key Infrastructure projects, respectively. Balu holds a BSEE from the University of Calicut, an MS in Computer Science from Texas Tech University, and an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder.
