David Holmes

David Holmes is an accomplished educator and director with extensive experience in leadership and academic improvement. Currently serving as a Director at S&P Global since November 2019, David previously held the position of Associate Director. From 2011 to 2019, David was a School Leader and Founding Faculty at YES Prep Public Schools, a charter school system focused on underserved communities in Houston. Earlier experience includes serving as a Founding Athletic Director and teacher at Houston ISD, where notable achievements included leading 5th graders to record-high math state assessment passing rates. As a Corps Member with Teach for America, David significantly advanced student performance in 2nd grade. David holds an MBA from Rice Business and a BA in Government and Economics from the University of Virginia.
