Namit Poorey

Namit Poorey serves as the Global Head of Technology Risk & Governance at S&P Global since February 2025. Previously, Namit held the role of Global Head of Technology Controls Assurance at Northern Trust Corporation from July 2022 to January 2025. With extensive experience at KPMG US from 2006 to 2022 as Director of Technology Risk Management, Namit has a global and versatile background in Technology Risk Management across all three lines of defense, as well as expertise in Technology Audits and Assurance activities. Additionally, experience includes a position as a Technical Consultant specializing in BS7799 and ISO27001 implementation from 2005 to November 2006. Namit's portfolio includes managing large IT projects, overseeing people, and financial management.
