Sylvia Mhlanga

Sylvia Mhlanga holds an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Economics from Midlands State University. Currently serving as an Associate Director at S&P Global since May 2023, Mhlanga specializes in analyzing insurance companies across Africa and the EMEA region, engaging with issuers and investors, and leading discussions related to credit ratings. Prior to this role, Mhlanga worked as a Senior Analyst at GCR Ratings from December 2017 to May 2023 and as an Associate at Standard Chartered Bank from September 2011 to December 2015.
