S K Palekar

S K "Bal" Palekar is an accomplished academic and marketing professional with extensive experience in both education and industry. Currently serving as Chairperson of the Executive Education Center and Professor of Marketing at S P Jain Institute of Management & Research since February 2009, Palekar previously held positions at prominent companies including Senior Vice President and Marketing Director for Eureka Forbes Ltd, Vice President of Marketing at Onida, and VP of Marketing and Sales at Balsara Hygiene Products. Early career highlights include setting up Funskool for MRF as Executive Vice President, leading significant sales growth at Corn Products/Best Foods as Marketing Manager, and managing confectionery products at Cadbury India.
