Brad Gillespie has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Their most recent role is as a Senior Biologist at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they began in December 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Aclairo Pharmaceutical Development Group and had over 25 years of experience in the industry, focusing on the development and regulation of biologics and small molecules. Brad also held the position of Team Lead at Washington & Old Dominion Biologics from September 2010 to June 2021. From 2011 to 2016, they served as the Director of Drug Development, Therapeutics for Rare and Neglected Diseases (TRND) at Leidos Biomedical Research. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Clinical Development at The POM Wonderful Company and a Director at Amgen. Brad started their career as a Clinical Pharmacology Program Leader at Pharmacia in 1999, where they directed clinical pharmacology efforts for multiple new and marketed products. Prior to Pharmacia, they worked for the FDA as a Senior Clinical Pharmacology & Biopharmaceutics Reviewer, where they consulted with regulated companies and reviewed study protocols and reports. Additionally, they completed an internship with Thomas Ludden, PhD at the FDA where they worked on developing a pharmacokinetic simulation model and designing an Artificial Neural Network. Brad Gillespie's work experience spans over three decades, demonstrating their expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Brad Gillespie attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology. Following this, from 1990 to 1994, Brad attended the University of Illinois Chicago and obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree specializing in Clinical Pharmacy.
