J. Christopher Lewis

J. Christopher Lewis is a seasoned military operations analyst with extensive experience in defense consulting and military leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Military Operations Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since March 2022, Lewis has held various key roles including Defense Consultant at Maximus and Attain, LLC, and Principal Owner at Piney Branch Consulting, LLC. Notably, Lewis served as the Branch Head for the Marine Corps Program Objective Memorandum Development, overseeing the future budget for the service, and was the Commanding Officer of the 12th Marine Artillery Regiment, managing personnel and significant resources. Lewis's prior experience includes positions at the III Marine Expeditionary Force, Joint Staff, and the Naval War College, where Lewis earned a Master’s degree in National Security Studies with highest distinction. Educational qualifications also include a Master of Science in Defense Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and multiple graduate degrees in military studies and political science.
