Sanjoy Malhotra

Sanjoy Malhotra has a strong background in military and cybersecurity operations. Sanjoy started their career in 1993 with the United States Air Force, where they held various leadership positions in cyber and IT operations. During their time in the Air Force, they led the Department of Air Force’s CIO’s statutory and regulatory programs and served as the Air Force’s Executive Agent for Interoperability & Supportability/Deputy Division Chief (CIO). Sanjoy also led the Air Force’s Enterprise Architecture strategy and policy development effort and oversaw the resourcing and execution of the Air Force’s $17B C4/Cyber enterprise. Sanjoy was later appointed as the Director of Operations for the 53rd Wing, where they led daily operations supporting DoD’s $45M Advanced Program networks.

After leaving the Air Force, Malhotra joined Strategic Command as the Chief of the Cyber Operations and Information Assurance Branch, where they served on the US Nuclear C2 System (NCCS) Support Staff.

Malhotra's most recent work experience includes roles at Torch.AI, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. At Torch.AI, they served as a HOH Fellowship (Mission Enterprise Architect) and Hiring Our Heroes Fellow. At AWS, they worked as a DoD Cloud Technical Account Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Military NC3 Cyber Operations Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc.

Sanjoy Malhotra has a diverse education history. In 1998, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Radar Communications and Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Sanjoy further pursued their education and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix in 1998.

In 2000, Sanjoy Malhotra enrolled at the University of La Verne and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in IT. Sanjoy continued to expand their knowledge and attended multiple specialized courses. In 2009, they completed the Space Application Course (Space 200) at the U.S. Air Force National Security Space Institution (NSSI). In 2012, they enrolled in the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management and completed the Joint Advanced Cyber Operations (Cyber 300) program.

Sanjoy Malhotra also dedicated himself to military education. In 2010, they completed the USAF Air Command and Staff College, specializing in the Air, Space, and Cyberspace domains. Sanjoy furthered their education in the military field by attending the Joint Forces Staff College, National Defense University, where they completed the JPME II (Joint Professional Military Education) program in 2016. That same year, they also attended the USAF Air War College, focusing on Air, Space, and Cyberspace Operations. Additionally, they completed the Air Force Nuclear College's Advanced Nuclear Concept (Nuclear 300) program in 2016 and the NATO Nuclear Policy Course at the NATO SCHOOL OBERAMMERGAU in 2015.

Furthermore, Sanjoy Malhotra obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2021, they earned the AWS Tech U Graduate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), followed by the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ and CompTIA Linux+ ce certifications from CompTIA. Sanjoy also achieved the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), all in 2021.
