Sybren Henstra

Sybren Henstra has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Sybren is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Spaarne Gasthuis since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Privacy & Security Officer at Diakonessenhuis from January 2018 to April 2021. From September 2017 to December 2017, they served as the Data Protection Officer a.i. at Careyn. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Corporate Sales at MaxGrip from 2012 to 2016, and as an Interim Sales Director at Delta NV from 2009 to 2011. Sybren also held positions as the Sales & Marketing Director NL at Dun & Bradstreet from 2007 to 2008 and as the VP Manager Payments - FI Wholesale Banking at ING from 2002 to 2007. Sybren started their career as a Sales Manager at Versatel Networks from 1999 to 2001 and as a KPI IDS Marketing & Sales Co-ordinator at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation from 1992 to 1995.

Sybren Henstra completed their MBA in Business Administration and Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they studied from 1981 to 1987. In 2017, they pursued a CSSIP degree in GDPR from The Privacy Factory, completing their studies in 2018.
