Tamekia Griggs

Tamekia Griggs has extensive work experience in the credit union industry. Tamekia began their career in 2007 at TDECU as a Loan Processor, where they were responsible for originating and servicing loans, providing advice and guidance to loan applicants and borrowers, and managing the loan portfolio. In 2016, they joined Brazosport Teachers Federal Credit Union as a Branch Manager and Loan Officer, where they successfully generated referral business and proposed financial products and solutions to meet clients' goals. Tamekia also served as a Loan Manager within the same organization. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Space City Credit Union as a Branch Manager.

Tamekia Griggs has pursued their education in Business Administration and Management, General at Brazosport College. Tamekia obtained additional certifications such as the NMLS (National Mortgage Loan Originator System) from Brazosport Teachers Federal Credit Union in March 2021 and the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) from the same institution in October 2018.
