Rustam Gandhi

Rustam Gandhi is a Chemical Engineering student at the University of California, Berkeley, expected to graduate in 2023. As Project Manager for the Magnesium Air subteam at ChemE Car at Berkeley since Fall 2021, Rustam has led experiments focusing on electroplating single metal catalysts for oxygen reduction reactions and has experience with various battery chemistries. Additionally, as a Propulsion Engineer at Space Enterprise at Berkeley, Rustam contributed to modifying critical components of a liquid bipropellant rocket aimed at reaching 45,000 feet. Previous internships include a Product Development role at Acoustic Bio, where research and testing were conducted on a microfluidic cell-separation platform, and at Dx-Sys, Inc., assisting in the development and quality control of immunodiagnostic kits.
