Jason Palmer

Jason Palmer, C.P.E. currently serves as the Building Official for Space Florida since March 2024. Prior to this role, Jason held positions at Canaveral Port Authority from December 2013 to January 2024, including Deputy Chief Building Official and Manager of Facilities, Maintenance, and Landscape, overseeing maintenance for various CPA assets. Jason also contributed to Merritt Island High School Baseball as an Assistant Varsity Coach from November 2013 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes roles at Delaware North Companies from July 2008 to December 2013, managing facilities and work control functions, and as a Planner/Estimator at Space Gateway Support from November 2005 to July 2007. Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts from Eastern Florida State College, along with prior studies at the University of Florida.
