Larry Southern

Larry Southern is an experienced professional with a strong background in safety and compliance within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as the Director of Safety and Compliance at Space Florida since September 2024, Larry has also owned and operated 4S Enterprises since May 2015, providing consulting services for Environmental, Health & Safety regulatory compliance. Prior roles include Principal Mission Operations Specialist, Director of Environmental Health & Safety, and Senior Manager of EHS at BLUE ORIGIN from March 2016 to September 2024, as well as Director of Environmental, Health & Safety at Space Exploration Technologies from April 2010 to April 2015. Larry is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering from Kennedy-Western University since 2000.
