Julia Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Julia is currently working as a Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer at Space Machines Company since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director and Technical Manager at Sitael Australia from 2019 to 2023, where they worked on various small satellites and led the systems engineering for the Buccaneer Main Mission bus project. Julia began their studies in 2004 at The University of New South Wales, where they completed a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Physics in 2008. Following this, Julia attended Cranfield University from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Astronautics and Space Engineering.
