Varsha J Lal

Varsha J Lal has a diverse work experience in the field of aerospace engineering. Varsha is currently working as an AOCS Engineer at Space Machines Company since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Navigation Guidance and Control System (GNC) Engineer at AgniKul Cosmos from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they were involved in research, development, and testing of GNC algorithms for launch vehicles. Varsha also contributed to the design and development of navigation algorithms and filtering algorithms.

Earlier in their career, Varsha worked as a Project Trainee at ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (IISU) from 2019 to 2020. Here, they focused on the development and testing of attitude estimation algorithms and orbit determination methods for small satellites. Varsha also gained experience in IMU testing and calibration. Additionally, they completed an internship at ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (IISU) in Thiruvananthapuram in 2019.

Before entering the aerospace field, Varsha worked as an Electrical Instructor at AMET Technical Institute, Kottarakkara from 2016 to 2017.

Varsha J Lal pursued their Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they enrolled in the College of Engineering Trivandrum, where they completed their Master of Technology in Guidance and Navigation Control from 2018 to 2020.
