Stein Torvet

Stein Torvet has extensive experience in the telecommunications and space sectors, currently serving in business development at Space Norway since December 2013, focusing on establishing and managing start-ups within the space industry. Previously, Torvet held the position of Senior Adviser for Satellite Communications at the Norwegian Space Centre, where a user needs analysis for an Arctic Satellite communication system was conducted. A project manager role at Atkins involved assessing governmental satellite communication systems in the EU/NATO area, while earlier positions at Alcatel-Lucent and Alcatel Telecom included responsibilities in product management, sales, and program management within the realm of satellite and secure communication systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and an Examen Artium in Mathematics/Physics.
