Padma Yanamandra-Fisher serves as a Senior Research Scientist at the Space Science Institute since 2011, focusing on outer solar system observations, modeling, statistical applications to large data sets, atmospheric state retrieval, and mentoring students while engaging in public outreach. Previously, Padma Yanamandra-Fisher worked as a Research Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 1989 to 2011 and held a position as a Visiting Observer at the IRTF in 2009-2010. Educational qualifications include an EMBA in Strategy from the Drucker School of Management, an MS and Ph.D. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Denver, and an MSc in Physics from Delhi University.
