Ari Lee

3d Advanced Manufacturing Designer at SPACE/CRAFT

Ari Lee has a background in digital fabrication and 3D advanced manufacturing. They worked as a Digital Fabrication Technician at Rochester Institute of Technology from December 2019 to May 2022, providing rapid prototyping services and support to faculty and students. In this role, they operated and maintained various equipment such as 3D printers, laser engravers, vinyl cutters, and water jet cutters. Additionally, they troubleshooted technical issues and assisted customers with design decisions, prototyping methods, and CAD modeling.

After that, Ari worked as a Teaching Assistant at the College of Art and Design at RIT from September 2021 to April 2023. Their responsibilities included assisting professors with courses in form and design study, CAD modeling, and delivering lectures. They also provided individualized feedback and additional resources to help students overcome challenges in 2D and 3D design, CAD modeling, rendering, and prototyping.

Currently, Ari is a member of the 3D Advanced Manufacturing team at SPACE/CRAFT Worldwide, Inc., starting in April 2023.

Ari Lee obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial and Product Design from Rochester Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2022. In addition, Ari received a certification in Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Coursera | Google in June 2022.
