Walter Low

Walter Low, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical sector with extensive experience in biosimilar drug development and program management. Currently serving as a Board Member on the Scientific Advisory Board at SpacePharma and as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Research Committee at the Macular Society since June 2024, Walter has previously held significant positions including Vice President Program Head at Alvotech from July 2020 to June 2024, and Global Program Head at Polpharma Biologics and bioeq GmbH from June 2019 to June 2019 and June 2014 to June 2019, respectively. Walter's earlier roles include Director of Technology Development & Antibody Engineering at PX'Therapeutics and R&D Director at Microtest Matrices Ltd. Walter received a PhD in Biochemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed advanced studies at Imperial College London and University College London, specializing in Immunology and Gene Therapy.
