Andy Sadhwani

Andy Sadhwani is a highly experienced Principal Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX, where responsibilities include leading the Raptor Systems Analysis team and designing technical courses for over 5,000 participants. With a history at NASA as an Academic Researcher focusing on hybrid rocket propulsion, Sadhwani has held various roles at SpaceX, including Senior Propulsion Engineer and Manager/Lead Propulsion Engineer, contributing to engine development and certification. A solid foundation in engineering was established with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by two MS degrees from Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering Design and Aeronautics & Astronautics. Additionally, Sadhwani has prior experience as a design and propulsion intern in various organizations and as an engineer at Procter & Gamble, co-inventing notable toothbrush designs.
